Hills Junior ll trials

Trials for Hills Junior Little League will be held at Castle Glen, Diamond 2, commencing at 1pm on Sunday the 27th January 2019.

The venue for the second and subsequent trials is still to be determined. Castle Glen is unavailable on the 3rd February.

Players must pre-register for these trials.

Registration is to include player’s name, DOB, Club and two preferred playing positions. This registration is to be forwarded by email to johnyardhere@yahoo.com.au by Thursday 24th January.

This will be a ‘test’ for Hills as we have to enter two teams in this age. Teams will be selected with as close as possible to equal strength

To be eligible players:

(i) DOB must be between the 1st September, 2004 and 30th August, 2006

(ii) Must be playing in Hills’ Competition in either Hay or Street Leagues and played a minimum of 60% of games

(iii) Must not have changed Clubs or Associations since Season 2017/18, without changing Residential Address. Those players who have formal recognition of ‘Friendship status’ are exempt of that Rule.

Should players miss a trial the process will be that if a player ranked above them is cut, so too will the player who has missed the trial.

Also note that Coaches have not yet been appointed for any of the LL teams

*** Castle Glen CLOSED Sat 15 Dec for all games ***

*** Knights Xmas party CANCELLED ***
Sorry kids, with more rain certain tomorrow we had to make the decision now. Your parents will appreciate the early call to plan other things… or plan nothing. 😀

*** tickets for the raffle must be brought down to Castle Glen by 10am tomorrow. Nat and Jodi will collect sold and unsold tickets along with the money. The draw will take place within the week as a live stream on Facebook  ***

In the end, not a fun way to end this half of the season. Some games might still be transferred to other grounds. Don’t hold your breath, though. But stay alert just in case. You’ll hear by 7am tomorrow.
