There is no National Championship in Minor LL

To be eligible, players:

(i) Players must be playing in Hills’ Douglass, Leonard or Bergan Leagues and have an a Players will have played a minimum of 60% of the games in those Conferences.

(ii) Age eligibility is a DOB between 1st September, 2007 and 31st August, 2010.
(ii) Must not have changed Clubs since Season 2017/18, without changing Residential Address. Those players who have formal recognition of ‘Friendship status’ are exempt of that Rule. However, I am aware of none in this age group.

(iii) Players who have changed Associations since 2016/17 Season, without changing Residential address, will be ineligible for selection.

There have been some players identified from the LL trials that have been guaranteed selection in Minor Little League.

Unlike previous years will only guarantee entering one team, given the high number of ‘two year’ players being selected in the two Hills LL teams. This has severely weakened the Pitching and Catching depth to enabling entering two teams into Tournament play.

NSWJBL hardball Championships

Please see below from NSWJBL about an extension to nomination dates for the hardball championships.

“The response to our tours this year has been disappointing. We are offering the highest level of baseball available to Sydney players and we have not received sufficient numbers for us to commit to sending a team.
We have postponed the trials for a week to give time for the word to spread PLEASE share this post widely and I will write to current applicants. It is a shame to see players missing these opportunities to take part in tournaments that are higher than the State Championships level or alternatively to play against Japanese and Taiwanese teams in a strong tournament in Iwate, Japan”
