Knights Under Lights

KNIGHTS UNDER LIGHTS IS BACK FOR 2019

This 9 week program is a baseball Fundamentals Program where players will learn and develop their core skills – perfect for all kids that played T-Ball’ and Modball last season! Trained by some of the most passionate and experienced coaches the club has to offer AND led by Sydney Blue Sox starting pitcher Josh Guyer & NSW U16 Blue Sox and U15 Australian Rep Nick Chappell – Be taught all the skills – fielding, throwing, hitting and catching.

Cost $150 per player – includes a customized Knights Under Lights shirt and cap PLUS we feed you at the end of training! (sausage sizzle and drink).

Duration – Friday Nights 6pm-730pm beginning 10th May – 5th July, Castle Glen Reserve (Diamond 1).

We are also offering an Advanced Program, run by a 2 x Little League World Series Coach and NSW Blue Sox U16 Assistant Coach, Chris Swan (Swannie). This will be held at Knights Field.

This program takes things to a whole new level. Our Advanced program will focus on refining and increasing the skill set of each player. The Advanced program is for players who have played Mod Ball or Live Ball. This is a serious program. Players must be focused and attentive at all times – failure to do so may result in you being asked to move to the Fundamental program.

Winter Wiffle Ball

Finished baseball for the summer, not sure where to store your gear for winter… Don’t.

Our friends over at Kellyville Baseball Club are running a Winter Wiffle Ball competition on Wednesday nights, get your teams organised and register before its too late.

Annual General Meeting

Please see below the notification of our Annual General Meeting to be held post the Junior Presentation Ceremony on 7th April. Included are the details of committee positions and a nomination form for anyone seeking a position.

The Castle Hill Knights Baseball Club AGM is scheduled for Sunday 7th April at 4:15pm at the Castle Glen Community Centre (Forecourt – ie behind Diamond 1)

We would love to see you at the AGM.  Attending the AGM will give you a chance to get to know other members of the club, hear about what has been achieved in the last year, a chance to provide any input you may have, and prepare for the future.  Ideally, you might also feel inspired to volunteer to help at the club to make baseball at Castle Hill Knights a great experience for everyone, or even join the committee

As you may or may not be aware, at an AGM positions on the committee become vacant and we elect the office bearers of the club and members of the committee.

Nominations need to be returned to the club secretary on lindsayrchappell@gmail.com by Sunday 31st March.  Nominations are made in writing, signed by the member nominating and the 2 supporting members of the club, and once received will be reviewed by the Executive Committee.
