Castle Hill Knights to host the 2025 Junior League State Championship
Baseball NSW’s Junior League State Championship is just around the corner, and we’re incredibly proud to be hosting the 2025 tournament right here in Castle Hill. From Thursday 24 April to Sunday 27 April, the best junior league players from around the state will be hitting the diamonds at Knights Field (Fred Caterson Reserve) and Castle Glen Baseball Diamonds.
Schedule
Finals
Rescheduled semi finals and grand final will now take place on Sunday 4th May at Knightsfield
- 9:00 – Semi final 1 – Hills Red vs Hills Blue
- 11:30 – Semi final 2 – Cronulla Black vs Manly
- 14:30 – Bronze Medal game
- 17:00 – Championship game
Pool games
Here’s a look at the game schedule for Pool A and Pool B, outlining when and where each team will be taking the field across the four-day championship.

Ground Locations
While both venues offer areas of natural shade, its best to come prepared as the sun can peak through the trees as it moves position through out the day.

Knights Field at Fred Caterson Reserve is home to our main ground, and it’ll be one of the primary venues for this year’s championship. All Pool B games will be played here, as well as the semi finals! Tucked away behind the soccer fields, it offers a fantastic viewing experience surrounded by natural bushland.
Batting cages and the bullpen will be available for warms-up. Please don’t wear metal cleats in areas with astro turf.
Castle Glen, just a few minutes down the road, will also be in full swing. With Diamond 1 and Diamond 2 both in use for Pool A (plus one Pool B game on Anzac day), and newly prepped for top-tier baseball, it’s going to be the perfect stage for this huge event.
Diamonds 3 and 4 plus the batting cages will be available for warm-ups. Please don’t wear metal cleats in the batting cages.

Getting there & parking
For Knights Field (Fred Caterson Reserve):
- Parking is available in the Soccer Field 1 and 2 carparks. From there, it’s just a short walk through the soccer fields to reach the diamond. There are soccer games scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, so please allow time for parking.
- You can also park in the Gilbert Road car park (enter into the drive way after the cemetery) and walk through the pathway to the field from that side.
For Castle Glen:
- There is a car park off Ridgecrop drive near Diamond 1 and you’re welcome to use any available spaces. Just a heads-up—foul balls do occasionally make their way into the car park, so park with this in mind.
- If the car park is full, there’s plenty of street parking available nearby, especially around Ridgecrop Drive and Excalibur Avenue. Please park according to any road markings and street signs.
Food & drinks
Our canteens will be open and well-stocked, and we’re not talking your average sausage sizzle. Of course, there’ll be all the classics— full BBQ menu, drinks, slushies and snacks — plus plenty more! You’ll also find barista-made coffee and a few other surprises for those looking to treat themselves between innings.
GameChanger:
You can follow all the action pitch-by-pitch on GameChanger, with live scoring, video streams and game updates throughout the tournament: https://web.gc.com/organizations/cyQNPXTSgbjL/home
See you there
We’re thrilled to be welcoming teams from all over NSW, including Cronulla, Ryde, Macarthur, Greater Western, Illawarra, Hunter Coast, Far North Coast, Manly, and of course, our very own Hills teams. It’s shaping up to be a massive four days of baseball, and we couldn’t be more excited to showcase our club and our community.
Whether you’re a baseball tragic or just looking for a great local event to enjoy over the long weekend, come on down. Support the teams, enjoy the food, soak up the atmosphere—and if you spot something that needs doing, we’s be grateful if you could lend a hand. Events like these come together with the help of the whole community, and we’re proud to be able to help this year!
