Well, that is it for Season 2021/22!!
I think we can all agree it is not the way we all intended the season to finish.
The unprecedented amount of rain has washed the Season out after the start of the Season was delayed due to Covid. We had hoped that we may have been able to play the Grand Finals of the three First Division Live Ball competitions, Shipley, Hay and Douglass this coming weekend, but the weather forecast of continuing rain will prevent that from happening.
I would like to thank all the Players, Coaches, Managers, Scorers and Umpires for what has been another enjoyable (rather short) season at Castle Hill Knights Baseball Club. Even with a delayed start to the season we had over 200+ kids from the ages of 5-16 register to play. Who would have thought we could still keep our player numbers over 200 with all the uncertainties that the pandemic provided? A big thank you to our Committee and Canteen staff through the season and to all the parents who gave up their time to help early in the morning with ground set up or whether it was helping on the canteen or turning snags on the BBQ.
