We’re excited to let our Knights families know that our winter development programs are back for 2026. Winter Smash will run on Friday nights and is a great way for Knights players to keep building their skills, stay active over the off-season, and continue training alongside their teammates.
At this stage, both programs are open to Knights players only.
In addition to Winter Smash, we will again be offering a Winter Elite Program for a select group of players who are planning to trial for DPP or who are returning EPP participants.

Knights Winter Smash 2026
U12 & U14 (Friday Nights)
12U Program
Targeted at players planning to play in Under 12 and below in the 2026/27 season. Players should have already completed a full season of player pitch.
14U Program
Targeted at players moving into Under 14 and above in the 2026/27 season.
Winter Smash focuses on skill development, confidence, and enjoyment of the game, while keeping players connected with their team and club during the winter months.
Knights Winter Smash 2026 – Elite
15U players
This program will cater for up to 24 players who are either planning to trial for Baseball NSW development programs. It is designed for players looking for a higher level of training and preparation.

Knights Winter Smash – Rookie
New awesome program, now open to 6U–10U players. Friday nights at Castle Glen
The program will include:
- Fast, fun, game‑focused Rookie Ball
- Multiple teams + jerseys
- Round‑robin format
- Mixed ages + balanced skills in each team
- Soft toss → 3 swings → then tee
- Max 3 runs per inning = nonstop action
This isn’t drill‑line tee ball… It’s Winter Smash Rookie Ball — development, excitement, and teachable moments on every play.
