Trials for Senior LL will commence Sunday 3rd February at Corbin Diamond 3 @ 9 am sharp.
Players intending to trial need to pre register by contacting John Yard (johnyardhere@yahoo.com.au) by Thursday 31st January.
This will be a test for Hills having to enter two teams in Senior LL State Championships. Especially as I have heard the rumours that players will not nominate given (a) the costs involved and (b) the need for Hills to enter two teams in Junior and Senior LL. Personally I doubt that the rumour will be proven true. That said, I fully understand costs being a deterrent. Involvement in National Championships is a large financial outlay.
As an Association, Hills will always strive to provide opportunities for its players. Even if we enter teams only with the intention of competing at the State Championship. Most of previous Representative players will have a lot of Hills’ gear and should only cost approx. $75 to compete in State Championship
Teams will be selected with as close as possible to equal strength
Eligible DOB :Players need DOB between September, 2002 and August, 2005
State Championship dates are 13th to 16th April, 2019 at BISPTo be eligible players:
(i) Must be playing in Hills’ Competition in either Shipley Youth League or Cashmore Leagues and played a minimum of 60% of games
(ii) Must not have changed Clubs since Season 2017/18, without changing Residential Address. Those players who have formal recognition of ‘Friendship status’ are exempt of that Rule. However,I am aware of none in this age group.
(iii) Players who have changed Associations since 2016/17, without changing Residential address, will require approval of BNSW to be eligible to be selected.
