Registrations 2022/23

Welcome to registration for Castle Hill Knights Baseball Club for the 2022/23 season.

This year we have a new registration system which you should find is more user friendly than its predecessor. A few things to note before you launch into registering your player and/or yourself:

  1. When registering a junior player, the question about the WWCC number and coaching accreditation DOES NOT APPLY TO THEM so please answer NO. If you are going to join the ranks of our fabulous volunteers – please do – you will need to register as a volunteer (BNSW requirement). When you register, you will need to complete the WWCC and, if applicable, the coaching accreditation questions.
  1. Enter your player’s active kids’ voucher (AKV) without any spaces between the numbers.
  1. For existing members, please try to use the email address that was used for registration last year. If you need to use a different email address this year, the system will not be happy and you will get this message:

If you see this, or any other unexpected messages, please let our Juniors Registrar know and they help to sort it out for you (juniorsregistrar@castlehillbaseball.com.au)

  1. We have three payment options; PayPal, credit card and Open Pay (which lets you spread your payments over a period of time).
  1. IMPORTANT REFUND POLICY…it is the policy of both Baseball Australia and BNSW NOT to refund capitation fees. Also, once your player has been allocated to a team and taken to the field for training or a game, then Club fees will only be refunded in limited circumstances (and changing of mind and deciding not to play isn’t usually one of them).
  2. NEW MEMBERS keep a watch on our socials for information on what your player needs in terms of uniform and equipment. Join us on Facebook here.

REGISTRATIONS FOR Season 2022/23 are now closed. Registration for Summer season 2023/24 will open in July 2023.

And don’t forget, if you have any questions, please contact our Juniors Registrar, Elizabeth, at juniorsregistrar@castlehillbaseball.com.au

Here are some extra tips to use:

  • Register your child for the league age that corresponds to their date of birth (DOB).
  • You can register more than one child at once; you do not need to complete one registration before starting the next. It is recommended that you complete adult registrations separately (i.e. Signing up to volunteer or coach) to any child/player registrations.
  • If you have an Active Kids Voucher (AKV) that you would like to apply to your child’s registration, make sure you have it ready to enter BEFORE you start registering your child. This year the Active Kids Voucher can be entered during the registration process. Enter your ACV where you see the ‘Voucher’ header and hit apply.
  • Please ensure your child is registered asap. There’s no reason to wait 🙂

How you can help

We are a community club that is 39 years old.

We are successful because of our wonderful volunteers who serve in the canteen and BBQ, sell uniforms, help mark up the fields, help maintain the fields, coach, manage, score, umpire, keep the young ones under control in the dugout… And then there are the hard-working committee members that do so much behind the scenes to help make everything run like clockwork.

We need you to be a part of this happy and hardworking community. You will know when you will hear the calling… or feel the tap on the shoulder to put your hand up. If you have your own ideas on how you could help, please get in touch with a member of the committee.

Your children who play the game will be the winners of your involvement and community spirit. Castle Hill Knights thank you in advance.

For anything else that you need help or information, please email our Club President, Matt Watson – president@castlehillbaseball.com.au
