A message from Hills
Just a reminder that trials for both Intermediate and Junior LL commence this Sunday 27th January at Castle Glen @1pm.
Intermediate League is Diamond 1, Junior LL is Diamond 2
Players intending to trial need to pre register by contacting John Yard (johnyardhere@yahoo.com.au) by Thursday 24th January.
This will be a test for Hills having to enter two teams in Senior, Junior and LL State Championships.I have heard the rumours that players will not nominate given (a) the costs involved and (b) the need for Hills to enter two teams in Junior and Senior LL.
As an Association, Hills will always strive to provide opportunities for its players. This is an opportunity for players who have not played Representative Baseball previously. Even if we enter only with the intention of competing at State Championship. Teams will be selected with as close as possible to equal strength
Eligible dates :
Senior LL- DOB between September, 2002 and August, 2004 Players must be playing in Cashmore or Youth Leagues.
These trials are yet to be organized.
State Championship dates are 13th to 16th April, 2019 at BISP
Junior LL – DOB between September 2004 and August 2007. Players must be playing in Hay or Street Leagues.
State Championship is 17th-24th April at Aquatic Reserve, French’s Forest
Intermediate– September, 2005 and August ,2008 Players must be playing in Jeff Catt Intermediate League.

To be eligible players:
(i) Must be playing in Hills’ Competition in either Hay or Street Leagues and played a minimum of 60% of games
(ii) Must not have changed Clubs or Associations since Season 2017/18, without changing Residential Address. Those players who have formal recognition of ‘Friendship status’ are exempt of that Rule.
